| Overview

The PT Metrology Series, which is based on the principle of visual measurement and precision image analysis algorithms, comes with a double telecentric optical lens with a large depth of field. This enables the machines to perform quick dimensional measurements using one of its key features, one-key operation.

| Double Telecentric Optical Lens

1. Automated Focus Adjustments

The PTM Series is equipped with a specifically designed telecentric lens with a large depth of field and high resolution. It will automatically bring the measurement points into focus, without manual adjustment.

2. Always Real Size

The PTM Series is equipped with a telecentric optical system, which means that the image is not affected by the height differences of the part. Allowing it to perform accurate measurements of parts with uneven surfaces or concave-convex areas.

3. Zero Distortion in the Full Field of View

The PTM Series lens not only minimises distortion near the centre but also at the outer reaches of the field of view, so parts can be measured accurately regardless of the position on the object table.

4. Automated Edge Detection

The program can execute sub-pixel processing on the edges thanks to high-order interpolation and numerical fitting algorithms, and high-precision measurement at the sub-pixel level is used in large fields of view.

| Analysis Software

Our in-house VisionX Pro software includes up to 80 extraction analysis tools, such as Feature Extraction (Includes maximum points, centerlines, arcs, peaks, etc), Accessory Tools (Includes dot line, circle, straight line, etc), Smart Labeling, Shape Tolerance, and Special Application Tools (Includes pitch distance, pitch angle, slot, thread, round cross, etc.)

The measurement results, as well as their main statistical values (such as average,, 3, 6, Ca, Cp, Cpk, and so on), will be automatically recorded and archived.

In addition, for history extraction, operators can choose from a variety of filter conditions.

Statistic Measurement

The trend graphs show the regular trend of measured values, such as the monotonic and periodic change of measured values, which can be used to monitor the abnormality of the production process of producing equipment. SPC can monitor the product quality and changing trends of the production process by using quality diagnosis and analysis with statistical methods. With SPC, we can find a preventive solution in the manufacturing process, reducing the need for subsequent inspection and repair. As a result, the manufacturing process is controlled and product quality is improved.
